2Undergraduate research provides students with practical lab skills that many employers look for in job applicants. Research can be done in a variety of disciplines and departments. In most departments students can register for undergraduate research up to three times.

3Students should choose two (2) courses from the following MIBO electives: CBIO(MIBO)(IDIS) 4100, MARS(MIBO) 4620/4620L, MIBO(POPH) 4220, MIBO 4300 (not offered on a regular basis), EHSC(MIBO)(FDST) 4310/4310L, POPH(MIBO)(IDIS) 4450/4450L, MIBO 4500, POPH(MIBO)(IDIS) 4650MIBO 4680  (not offered on a regular basis, or MIBO 4700).

4Choose one (1) course from: BCMB 4030L, BIOL 3110L, BIOL(CBIO) 5050L, BTEC(BCMB)(PBIO) 4000L, CBIO(BIOL) 3410L, GENE(BIOL) 4210L, MIBO 4600L

5Choose one (1) course from: any 3- or 4-credit hour, 3000/4000- level course in BCMB, BIOL, CBIO, ECOL, GENE, or MIBO (includes undergraduate research courses and courses cross-listed with MIBO), MARS 3450/3450L, MARS(FISH) 4380/4380L, MARS 4810, ENTO 3140/3140L, ENTO 3650/3650L, ENTO 4000/4000L, PSYC 4120, PSYC 4130, or VPHY 3100.
